Trinity Church of God was established September 1971 at a store front building located on North Highland Street by our founding pastors, Rev. William & Opal Keller. The church began with eleven families with fifty-one charter members. From the beginning God has blessed our church with the holy anointing and a powerful presence leading many to become saved. In 1974 God enabled the church to purchase the old North Park school building located on Sterling Street. Renovation was completed and the first service was held in the fall of 1974. In 1984 God blessed us with the ability to purchase five acres of land located at 285 Winn Avenue, with construction for the new sanctuary to begin in February 1986. Construction was completed within the following year and our first official service was held September 6, 1987. In 1994 God financially blessed the church with the ability to build the William A. Keller recreation hall and youth facility.
In 2003, Pastor William Keller relinquished the mantle of pastoral leadership on to his son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Billy and Mitzi Keller. They have continued to lead and direct the church under the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit.
God has truly blessed our congregation. In our many years friends, family, and community have grown in their paths to God. The Godly principles and vision that Trinity was founded on still holds true today… we are building the kingdom of God from generation to generation and will continue to do so for many years to come.
